To be clear, I have never been to Mike's Barber Shop, but Google has asked me so many times to rate this place, I figured I would attempt to scratch their itch.
Mike's is across the street from a frequent bus stop of mine and from many times of sitting across the street from this joint, I can tell you that the overall vibe of the place is awesome. Very welcoming and neighborly.
The individuals who leave seem exceptionally pleased with their treatments. As a woman who has no beard, does not require shaving [not in public, at least], and who has a nearly waist length mop of curls, this place is not a great fit for me personally, but I love how vibrant the place is and the energy that it adds to that corner.
It even looks pretty at night. :)

I've been a loyal customer of Mike's barber shop for over four years now, and I can confidently say that their service is truly top-notch. From the moment I walk in, I feel welcomed by all the staff. And when I leave, I always receive compliments on my fresh haircut from both friends and strangers alike.
I've been fortunate enough to have Paul as my go-to barber, and he never disappoints. He's always accommodating and reliable. But what really sets him apart is his incredible skill when it comes to fades. Every time I leave his chair, I feel like a new person - refreshed and looking my best.
Overall, I can't recommend Mike's barber shop and Paul's services enough. If you're looking for a place that consistently delivers excellent haircuts and unparalleled customer service, this is the spot for you. Five stars all around!
Finding a good barbershop can be a challenge, but after visiting it's obvious that Mike's is one of the best barbershops in the city. Everyone there is super dope and friendly. Prices are very reasonable, it's cash only, but there's an atm inside. Plenty of locals/regulars come here to get a fresh cut. I've never had a bad haircut here and can honestly say Jane is really amazing and her cuts are consistent every time.
Mike’s Barbershop has a family vibe. I’ve been coming here for the past year and a half and since I first walked in. I was always greeted and met with a welcome. Now for the haircuts. I’ve always received a cut from Paul. First chair on the right as you walk in. The cut has always been A-1. Paul is flexible and they have an easy to use app to make an appointment. If you don’t have cash they have an ATM in the shop. Stop by and get a cut. It’s all love when you walk in.
Excellent local barber shop with everything you'd want. Great vibe, the owner is friendly and personable. I walked in and there weren't any seats available but they got me in the next morning. Each of the barbers said peace to me on my way out. Excellent cut. Reasonable price for SF. A+ experience.
Absolutely the best barbershop I been to hands down. Paul has always took care of me above and beyond as well as a couple others when he wasn’t available. Easily accessible to book appointments online at my convenience is probably one of the most important factors that first led me here.
